here comes the bride.

My dear friend Marie got married in the Salt Lake Temple on December 20th and I was lucky enough to be one of her bridesmaids.
The whole day was so lovely and such a special experience.
Our day started out with the wedding luncheon at the Lion House on Temple Square.
The food was to die for and I took full advantage of clearing my plate :)

After lunch we had a break for a few hours, so Becca, Abby and I went shopping at Gateway.
We randomly ran into a bunch of friends at Anthropologie & that was a fun surprise!

After that, we headed to the temple to see Marie & Devin come out of the temple and take pictures with the wedding party.
She. Looked. Gorgeous.
& so happy! I caught some great candids of the special moment.

The reception that night was so pretty.
It was in a greenhouse!
Becca, Abby and I took the liberty of exploring and taking loads of pictures to entertain ourselves while the guests greeted the happy couple in line.
Becca and I both wore really tall heels and immediately regretted it.
Our feet were literally stinging by the end of the night.

Becca was the winner of the bouquet toss :)

I'm so happy for Marie and know she made a great decision in marrying Devin.
They are so great together.

I'm so guilty of not blogging anymore these days...
My apologies...
So this is me making things right again :)

Life has been quite the ride lately.
I got a second job!
I am now a Sales Associate at Banana Republic.
I actually really like it.
It was really hard at first and on Black Friday (4am-1pm) I felt like a chicken running around with my head cut off... But I work with some really cool people and the employee discount isn't too bad either :)

Thanksgiving was a fun, relaxing day with the fam.
We had dinner at Grandma's and it was delicious, like usual.
I'm grateful I have such a happy, weird family :)

I bought these beauties the other day.
I have a serious addiction to sparkle.

I had a reunion with my ladies on Friday night at Becca's Mocktail party!
[It was the perfect excuse to wear my previously mentioned glitter heels... :)]
When the 4 of us get together it's always a great time.
It doesn't happen enough! I love them dearly.

Saturday, my family went up to Gardner's Village in Salt Lake.
I haven't been there since I was little, so it was fun to go back.
& the whole little village was decorated for Christmas :)
There were several creepy lookin puppet elves strategically placed around the shops...
aka THIS guy:

It's finals week and I have zero time to study.
Ahhhh.
I just don't even want to think about it.

I love Halloween.
Carving pumpkins, dressing up, scary movies... [Okay actually not that last one :)]

On Friday night, I went to the Alpine Village annual Halloween party with some friends.
We were quite the random bunch..

On Sunday, my sisters and I carved pumpkins.
This is what I came up with:

Finally, on the actual day of Halloween, we got to dress up for work.
This year I was Kim Possible.

My whole ensemble came out to a grand total of $11.00! [Thank you D.I.].

Me and Cammy passed out candy to the neighborhood kiddies and made an impromptu horror flick [soon to come].

It was a very chill, relaxed Halloween this year.
& that worked for me :)

I'm in the mood to do something amazing.
I feel like I want to do something life-changing you know?
But I'm stuck on campus until work, so my options are limited...
So here I am, blogging.

In class yesterday we watched a documentary about how women are exploited and undermined by the media.
I was so captivated and was thoroughly interested in what was being taught.
But after class, I was talking to a friend [also in my class] and he was going on about how that was the most boring/pointless lesson and how our teacher should have just told all the guys to stay home that day.
He complains a lot about how our teacher is a liberal women's rights kind of lady, when in reality she's just a strong woman in the workplace with an opinion.
Usually I just ignore his comments on the subject, but this was the real winner:
"What's her deal? I mean it was Captain Moroni, not MRS. Moroni..."
Serious?
I've never been some kind of feminist activist but honestly, some people have no clue when it comes to respecting women.
Those kinds of comments are demeaning and narrow-minded, not charming.
Okay I'm done with my soap-box moment, I just had to get that out.

Ahh yes. I spend tooo much free time finding great little things.

Marie Clarke, soon to be... Marie Young!
This beautiful girl got engaged last week and is getting married in December.

Hello blogging world.
I haven't been posting very much these days so it's time for a quick summary of recent events.

Saturday night was my old roommate Kylee's wedding reception.
It was very beautiful and so much fun.

Even the boys got in on the action..

A couple weeks ago, I went to the rooftop concert across from Sammy's with Adriane and Thad.
Imagine Dragons and Vibrant Sound were performing and they were both awesome.

We had such a great time and even had a David Arch sighting next to us in the crowd.

School has started once again..
Woooo.
That's about all I have to say on that subject.

I'm very sad to see the Summer end.
There won't be too many more opportunities for moments like this once it gets cold...

But I do really love Fall and all that comes with it..
[like Halloween for instance... but what on earth should I be this year??]

Anyway, that's about it for now.

I had several aha! moments last week and this is what I learned...

I learned:

Don't judge people before even getting to know them. You never know, those people might end up becoming some of your good friends.

I talk wayyy too much when I'm under pressure.

Sometimes, there are people that are impossible to please. No matter what you do, they're never quite going to be impressed. But it's important to remember that's okay :)

Hard work really does pay off in the end.

I've grown up a lot. Whether that's happened in the last couple months, year or 2 years, I'm definitely different.

Sometimes, people you thought you knew well will disappoint you. But that's all part of growing up and moving on.

Basically, it was a very fulfilling week.

Today is my baby sister's 12th birthday.
Okay, so she's not really a baby anymore.
She is the most talented, creative twelve year old I know and has the quirkiest sense of humor [thanks to her super cool older sisters...]

I haven't blogged in forever.
But what's new...

Here's a quick run through of my last month or so.
I had a couple friend reunion dinners with these beautiful girls.

Me and my roomies got to Skype with Kev.

Things just aren't the same without him around.

[p.s. I'm obsessed with Skype... who knew it was so fun??]

Andrea and I went up to Salt Lake to visit Amanda before she left for Greece.

[JB may have made a special appearance..]

That last picture pretty much sums up our friendship perfectly.
[Except that Becca is missing].
I lovvve them.

Next up was Lake Powell.
It was SO much fun!!!

I had such a great time with Abby and the rest of the crew that came down.
I will admit that the one time I braved jumping into the lake, I had a mini panic attack...
Turns out I am pretty freaked out by water.
Pools are alright, I like those...
But anything super deep and dark where I have no idea what kind of creatures could be swimming underneath me? Aaackk!
No Bueno.
But it really was such a fun vacation.
Plus, I got a tan for like the first time ever!

I went to a book festival at BYU with my family.
Me and Cammy met Curious George :)

Last week I got to record a few of my songs at a super nice studio.
Ahh SUCH a cool experience.
This is definitely my true love no doubt about ittt.

I moved home on Thursday night.
That was definitely a very bittersweet experience for me.
[I'll blog more about that later, as this post is already too long and I have much more to say about that].

So that's my choppy summary of my last month or so.
It's been a good one!
I'm a bit sad today.
Not totally sure why, but just am.

Ah well, tomorrow's a new day.

I bought this movie a week ago.

We've been living through monsoon weather lately...

Last I checked, it was still May... right?
But lucky for me, I get to go to Lake Powell this weekend with Abby's family.

I got totally caught up on this season of Glee and watched 12 episodes in the last week.
I'd forgotten that I really do love this show.

My family went to our good friend Courtney Branning's wedding a couple weeks ago and we got to hang out with some of our favorite people.
Namely, Mackey and Mason!

Us minus one = Sad.

Us minus one + 2 = Happy [but still sad that we're minus one]

They are awesome and hilarious.

Lovvve them dearly.

Kevin came down to Provo to hang out last weekend before he left for Texas.
We went pawn shopping and then bought Mexican Popsicles, in honor of Cinco de Mayo.
I am gonna miss my big brother so very much.

I love HP.

SO MUCH.

I just finished re-reading the 3rd book and am starting the 4th...
I gotta get rollin if I want to finish them all in time for the final movie.

Well ladies and gentleman, I've survived another semester.
Winter is always the hardest for me to plow through, but I'm very glad I made it.
With the semester ending, there are both happy and sad sides...

I'm very happy that the stress of finals is over and that there is no more schoolwork for a few months.
But I'm very sad that the majority of people have moved out of Lib Square for Spring.
We'll just have a new crop come in next week and have to start all over..
I'm never good with goodbyes --ever-- but maybe it's time for a fresh start.
I think I'm ready for that.

Me and my girls [Becca, Abby and Marie] went to Malawi's, a pizza place in Riverwoods, a couple weeks ago.
It was not your average, everyday pizza joint, let me tell you...
& they have the most delectable dessert pizza you might ever have in your life...

Reeses-S'mores dessert pizza drenched in a creamy peanut butter spread...

Outrageously good.

We most definitely approve.

I am no longer a teenager.
On Saturday, I became a grown-up and turned the big two-zero.
In spite of the snow, my fabulous friends and family all helped make my birthday one of the best yet.

This amazing girl made my birthday oh so very special.
She is the absolute greatest.
She surprised me not only once, but twice, and I never even suspected a thing.

My friends woke me up for breakfast Saturday morning and we had the most delicious french toast.

Kev brought me Trolli Gummi Eggs.

[I am truly gonna miss him when he peaces out to Texas in week.] :(

I went to International Cinema at BYU with Mom and Court to see "The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob."
It was a French movie from the seventies and it was hilarious.
Then my family took me to dinner at our favorite place, Chili's.

We were actually able to take a normal picture... shocking, I know...

No Chili's visit is complete without this beauty.
The Chocolate Molten Cake.
You will die and go to heaven.

After dinner, Becca got me out of the apartment to get frozen yogurt and when we got back, I was welcomed like this:

I've never had that happen before and I was completely oblivious to any hints, so that made it even more exciting :)

The Bachelorettes were reunited once again and it was a great night. :)

The whole day was outrageously fun and I may or may not have done something slightly irrational to end my teenage years and ring in the twenties...

Me and Andrea were at the library yesterday until midnight.
[doing a last minute marriage class project.]
It took all I had to try to focus and be studious.
But it was actually really entertaining.
We saw everyone there.
and I mean everyone.

I ate a whole bag of Reeses Easter Eggs [aka Reester eggs..] the other day.
I got a headache.
But it was so worth it.
I am on serious chocolate overload.
I need an intervention.

General Conference is this weekend. :)

There ARE boys who are capable of actually dating...
Note to self: stop always picking the ones who aren't.
It's getting old.

January has been crazy...
The new year is already starting off busy busy busy.

I'm taking French 101 and it's kicking my trash.
My teacher speaks in French the whole time and I just sit with a blank stare.

Christmas break is being oh so good to me.
I got to talk to Sister Cope [aka Coryn] on the phone TWICE last week.
Best Christmas present ever? Oui.

I've been watching lots of sports with my dad, which is definitely one my favorite things to do.
He's been nice to put up with me when I get really loud.
Last night was the Jazz vs. Blazers game and we lost :(
But we got to see Wesley Matthews back on the Jazz court, which was great!

This break, I've been totally sleep deprived, but have been sleeping way too much...
[It doesn't make sense to me either..]
I just wish my body would be kind to me instead of waking me up every 2 hours in the night.

Last week I didn't have work so I had loads of free time.
I re-read the first Harry Potter and started the second one again.

SO good.

& I'd forgotten how funny they are.
Ahh I love HP.

I get to reunite with these lovely ladies this week.

It's been way too long since we've all been together.
I love my bachelorettes :)

Friday was something else.
Let's start at the very beginning...

I had a successful day of Christmas shopping until about 3:00 and came back to my apartment to get ready for my date that night.
We were going to see the Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert at the Conference Center in SLC.
My friend Melissa was going as well, so she came over to get ready with me.
We were patiently waiting for our dates to pick us up at 5:00 and passed the time by playing Tetris.
5:30 rolled around and they still hadn't shown up...
Finally, the doorbell rang at 5:45 and we headed out to the car to leave for Salt Lake.
On the way, we stopped at Wendy's because Melissa's date hadn't eaten dinner yet.
We were already late in leaving, so I was hoping everything would go smoothly & we could get to the concert on time.
But "smooth" wasn't quite the word to describe the events that followed...
We hadn't even made it onto the freeway yet when we got rear-ended by another car.
I thought for sure that things were over at that point and that we would have to wait for a police report and all of that messy stuff...
But luckily, there was no apparent damage, so my date and the guy who hit us exchanged numbers and we went on our way.

Good to go?

Not quite.

Traffic was ridiculous.
We were going way too slow to get us to Salt Lake on time, but I kept my fingers crossed.
We made it to about Murray area and I was thinking there was hope...
Until Melissa's date leaned forward to my date and said,
"Man, you gotta pull over. I'm not feeling too great..."
We pulled off onto an exit into a little diner parking lot and he got out and threw up.
My date got out to get him some water and I knew at this point that we were never getting to that concert.
By the time they got back into the car it was 7:15.
The concert started at 7:30 and our tickets would have already been given away to people in the stand-by line.
So the boys decided we should go see a movie at Gateway instead and we went on our way.
We had to stop one more time on the freeway so Melissa's date could throw up again...
[I felt really bad for him, but he was a good sport.]

Sadly, worst date ever.
Really nice guys, but really unfortunate events.

Luckily, my totally awesome roommmate, Andrea, let me come with her family to the Sunday morning Tabernacle Choir broadcast.
Coolest experience ever!!!!
[I cannot thank her enough! :)))]

Everything was stunning.
And it was so fun to see Michael York and David Archuleta perform.
Also, President Monson was there so that was a bonus!

Things all worked out in the end, imagine that :)

I really love Temple Square.
Nothing tops it during the Christmas season.

At our work Christmas party last week we had a gingerbread house making contest.
My table thought we were super original and made a mini scale version of the ASB.
[The administration building on campus].
Turns out we weren't as creative as we thought because 2 other groups had the same idea...
But it still ended up pretty awesome!

Fall semester is OVER!!!!!
Wow, I cannot even express how happy that makes me :)

This is my sister [on the right].
She is a missionary for the LDS church and she flies to Paris, France on Monday.
Which means...
I get to talk to her on the phone!!!!

...and that makes me even happier :)

It's finals week.

It's been a serious struggle to find the willpower to study.
If I could just drink a bottle of something called Focus, I wouldn't have that problem...
But I'm almost done and have lots of reasons to be happy!

For example.

Becca got home from London today and I get to see her tonight!

I will be entirely done with this semester after 12:30 tomorrow.
HALLELUJAH.

I got a text last night that I'd been waiting for all day.
Sometimes, that excited feeling just beats all. :)

Andrea has gotten me addicted to Tetris.
& now we have a huge TV to play it on, so it makes everything ten times better.

I get to see David Arch perform with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on Friday night.
I scored a ticket cause a guy in my ward invited me. [Sorry family...]

Next week is Christmas!
What could be better than that?

Thanksgiving with the fam was so fun [& delicious!]
We went to my Grandma's in Bountiful and she cooked everything for us.
She is the coolest!

I got to see "Tangled," the new Disney princess [Rapunzel] movie.

Okay, sorry for my absence the last couple weeks.
I've had so much to say, but haven't said any of it.
So here goes.

Coryn's gone, which stinks and I'm still not used to it.
[Honestly, I don't think I ever will be].
But she's having the time of her life, so I'm happy for her.

Halloween was so much fun and I dressed up as Shaun White.
Yes. I was a dude for Halloween.
But I was proud of how many people could actually tell who I was right off.
My roommates were Alvin and the Chipmunks!

I went to the Hogle Zoo with my family the weekend before Coryn left and it was such a blast back to my childhood.
Plus we got to see the baby elephant, Zuri, and she was a cutie.

I also got to fly on a dragon, so... I'm pretty cool.

I got a really bad cold last week that I'm just getting over.
My sweet mom brought me every remedy possible.
Chicken soup, herbal tea, cough drops, Vitamin C, Mentholatum... she's the best.

Thursday night, I took some Nyquil (which I'd never used before) to help me sleep, and it seriously worked wonders.
I was out for 12 hours.
12 whole hours of blissful sleep.
I'm feeling tons better now but I still kinda sound like a whiny man.

And I just want to point out that I am the world's most awkward person.
I cannot, to save my life, be normal in any awkward situation.
I seriously would get an A+ in "Making a Fool of Yourself 101" if it were a class offered.
Like last night for example.
But I won't get into that.

But who am I kidding, they're all great.

Yesterday was Andrea's 19th birthday!

Good news!
I didn't fail my Nutrition test, I actually did a decent job.
Glad that's over for now.

Fall is pretty much officially here, if it wasn't already.
I LOVE it.

On a happy note, I got some missionary letters last week.
I love love love love getting letters.
It's such a great feeling.

My Family Home Evening [FHE] brothers/dad are pretty much the funniest/funnest guys in the ward.

So I look forward to Monday nights.

Bob Wiley would be proud of me.
Saturday, my roommates convinced me to go boating with them and some friends.
I was a little reluctant at first because I didn't know if I'd like it (especially since I can't really swim...yeah long story...)
But I'm SO glad I did, it was crazy fun!

Utah Lake was actually way prettier than I expected and it was the perfect sunny day.
The only downside?
Getting eaten ALIVE by an angry army of mosquitoes at the dock.
I am not even joking, they were in for the kill.
I have battle bite wounds to show for it.
I wanna go again though, I can't believe I've missed out on this my whole life!

Annnnd, Glee Season 2 starts tomorrow!!! I am WAY too excited :)
This show is just too good for words.

What a week, people. WHAT A WEEK.
I haven't had much time to think, let alone blog.
I moved out last weekend and am slowly learning to adjust to living on my own.
I have the most rockin roommates and live in the same complex as a bunch of my great friends.
Take note: When you move out with friends, don't expect to get that much sleep. It just doesn't happen.
School started on Monday for me.
Hard classes. Ughhhh.
But I have good teachers, so at least class is bearable.

Anywayyy. Tuesday I went to the John Mayer concert in Salt Lake.
It. Was. Absolutely. Insane.
That man is UNREAL.
It was quite possibly the most amazing concert I have ever attended in my life.
Not only is he totally incredible live, but he has major serious guitar skills.
Highlights:

His very un-matchy outfit, bandana included.
The intros into every song.
His crazy-intense guitar solos.
His VOICE.
His monologues.

Basically, best concert ever.

On Wednesday, I got to see The Lion King up at Capitol Theater in Salt Lake.
Another incredible night!
My family has been dying to see this show for the longest time and it lived up to every expectation.
The costumes, sets, acting, singing, dancing and everything else were stunning.
Everyone should see this show at least once in their lives if they get the chance.
Highlights:

The incredible costumes.
Little Simba and Nala.
The female lions' tears (long ribbons coming from the masks).
Rafiki.
"He Lives in You" - imagine the biggest chills you've ever had times 12.

I can't even list how many things blew me away.
Go see it, seriously!

And finally, I watched this movie with my family last night.
Laugh all you want, but it was totally great.
Highlights:

This one's an actual musical.
The dance numbers.
Bonus Jonas, Frankie is in it.
Jonas purity rings.
Demi just rocks it.
Demi + Joe = Magic.
"Wouldn't Change a Thing" - in love with this song.
Nick.

I won't spoil anything, but basically the ending was golden, and the whole movie just made you feel good. :)

That was my awesome week.
I should probably go do homework or something.

One of my biggest fears is spiders.
They are icky and crawly and creepy.
We don't get spiders in our house very often since we have a company that sprays for them.
The other day I pulled a dusty old bag out from behind my dresser and knelt down on my floor to look through it.
Less than two minutes after I had done this, my knee started itching.
I looked down and saw a honkin bug bite that was growing by the second.
Lucky me.
Later, my foot started itching and I saw another beastly bug bite.
Yuck!
The next day as I was hanging up some clothes, like clockwork, the back of my leg started itching.
Seriously?!
I am being stalked.
By an insane creepy spider bug.

Dear Spider Bug,
I'm sorry I disturbed you when I pulled MY bag out from behind the dresser.
Please go away and leave me alone.
And stop biting me.

I got the chance to do another show at Muse on Thursday.

This time I had my friend Mark come and drum for me.

It was really chill and low stress because the venue wasn't entirely crowded.
But I did have some good friends come out to support again this time.
I got to sing some of my own songs and also a few covers, and the drums added SO much to the songs.
Mark's beats made everything sound so much cooler.

In other news, my family got to meet President and Sister Samuelson (President of BYU and his lovely wife) at my 2 older sisters' graduations yesterday.
That was a really cool experience.

Congratulations to both my older sisters for earning their Bachelors degrees at BYU!
They have worked long and hard for this day to come.

I saw Charlie St. Cloud this weekend and naturally, I loved it.

I took Cammy to see this movie today.

I loved the Ramona Quimby books growing up so I was excited to see they were making a movie of them.
I remember wanting to get callouses on my hands from swinging across the metal bars on the playground just like Ramona.

There was a part in the movie where Beezus (Selena Gomez) is talking to Ramona and the whole theater was quiet.
Then we all just heard this little boy say, "She's a wizard."
Little kids are great :)

But I absolutely loved the movie.
It was so charming and touching and I would recommend it to anyone.

Half of my family is in the UK for a couple weeks.
They saw this cute guy the other day.

Jealous.
But I'm having a fun time here with Cam and Dad.
We've found ways to entertain ourselves.

Summer is flying by so fast and school will be here before I know it.
I definitely have mixed emotions about that.
Excited to move out and meet new people
BUT
Not excited for school work.
It doesn't help that my major is most definitely UNdecided.

I'm making the most of all the lazy time I can manage and watching all the D.Chan I can before life tells me I really need to grow up.
If I could be a kid forever, I would totally take that chance.
I guess I could just take the second star to the right and head to Neverland.

Last weekend, I got to sing some of my original stuff at Muse.
It was a really great experience even though I was nervous nut case.
But I had a ton of support which made it so fun, so thanks to everyone who came out for that :)

Last night, I went to this kid's concert.

& I got to scream like a 13 year old girl.
He has got some serious talent and he showcased every bit of it last night.
Not only can he sing (yes, ALL live), but he dances just as well as his backup dancers and he drums like a pro.

It was a rockin concert and definitely one of the loudest I've ever been to.
My ears are still ringing.
But it was so worth it.

& we even got to see Kingston!

To all the JB haters (you know who you are ;)), he was so down to earth and grateful to the fans.
No attitude with this kid.
He's just a 16 year old, living the life and having a good time.

This salad screamed at me when I came across it on Health.com.

I love the 4th of July.
It's basically my favorite holiday.
Not only is it in the middle of Summer and brings all sorts of festivities, but it is the perfect time for us to appreciate our country's freedoms.
We are so lucky to live in a country where we are free to choose the lives we lead.
& soldiers are overseas fighting for our freedoms everyday.
That definitely puts a lot into perspective, especially when we're feeling sorry for ourselves.
There's so much to think about this time of year, and we should remember it always.

Becca invited me to Stadium of Fire again this year and it was a blast! (literally...ha)

Carrie Underwood was the headliner and she rockkked it.
She is flawless every single time she sings and never hits a sour note.
(I'm pretty much jealous..)
She started the show with the National Anthem and it was one of the most incredible versions I have ever heard.

The fireworks were amazing as usual.
(Even though one misfired into the audience.. scaryyy)
But it really was a great show.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves :)

It's been a great week kickin it back to the 90's and loving every minute of the bad acting and pre-teen hormones that made Ghostwriter such a hit in our home.
Believe me, it's been a real treat.

On another note, I've been especially missing my missionary friends lately.
Some will be back before I know it, and others are just heading out. This has left me with close to zero guy friends but I'm not quite ready to enter return missionary territory yet...
So I'm left in a pickle.
But at least I have crazy awesome girl friends and family in my life so I'm not left totally alone.

To top it all off, the sun has been shining the last couple days and that is always the cherry on top of everything.

My friend Nat and I decided to sneak into our old elementary

school and it was all broken down and creepy.

We were actually enjoying scaring ourselves when all of

a sudden we turned around and saw a man (aka Frank Martin).

He said, "I'm going to kill you."

We started laughing, thinking he was joking, but he said,

"No really, I'm going to kill you."

Then we started screaming and running away..

and I looked behind me and saw

talk about a sketchy dream.

Today was the Festival of Colors.

It was at the Krishna Temple & the scenery was beautiful.

We were there bright & early so we wouldn't

miss any of the action.

& we didn't! :)

I think some of the chalk powder may have gotten stuck

all the way up in my brain...

I can still feel it.

But today was a very fun day!

I even made a new friend...

The Gardettos Story

One day at work last July, I went to the vending machines to buy some Gardettos.
But they got stuck.
Usually if this happens, I'll shake the machine, but this time, I felt dumb because someone was behind me.
So I quickly mumbled some joke and started to walk away...
But the guy behind me suddenly turned to me and said, "Oh, I was going to buy those too, so I can get mine and you'll get yours too..."
I was under the impression that his initial choice was not Gardettos but that he was just being nice to spare my embarrassment.
(& secretly hoped he just wanted to come to my rescue..)
From that point on, I seemed to see him everywhere! It was like we became unofficial friends who would smile & say hello in passing but never knew each others' names.
But as time went on, I didn't see him very much anymore and wondered what my cute, Gardetto-buying, stranger-friend was up to.
The other day, I saw him with a girl.

Dang.

& there ended that story.

Life is funny sometimes. It can throw you the most unexpected surprises...

A year ago, I became friends with one of the coolest people around.

& we've been best buds ever since!

Who knew we would ever become friends?

Not me! But I'm so glad we did :)

I, along with pretty much everyone else in the world, have had my share of rude boys.

I guess some of us just have a knack for picking winners...

Take it from me.

Save yourself the wasted time and tears and heed the warning signs...

I highly recommend keeping watch for the following:

He forgets your birthday... More than once.
He is a completely different person every other time you see him.
He cusses you out.
He has the hots for your best friend.
He thinks your stories aren't worth his time. (is usually identifiable by a weird look or rolling of the eyes..)
He HAS to be better than you... at everything.
The only thing he can talk about is how much he benched/lifted at the gym yesterday.
He says he'll call or come to see you but never does.
One of his highest priorities is his social status.
He has to hug every girl in the entire room before even acknowledging your presence.
He repeatedly calls you the wrong name... or worse, he forgets your name.
He apologizes or asks for you back via text.
He decides to start ignoring you.
He's kissed more than 57 girls.
He has a new date every weekend.
He's juggling 5 girls at once.

Really, why even bother putting up with all that?

Go out there and find something better, cause seriously, he's just

not worth it.

Spring Fever

Mr. Sun has finally decided to come back from his 4-month vacation!

The weather these last few days has been beautiful...

It's definitely gotten me excited about a new look for spring! It's all about the bright

colors and bold patterns.

I'm definitely overdue for a shopping trip.

& this Friday, I'm so excited to see Tim Burton's, Alice In Wonderland

March, I have a feeling you're going to be a great month.

There's just something about the sunshine that makes everything better....

I am so sad to see it end. I definitely shed tears during several of these athletes' performances (Kim Yu-Na, Joannie Rochette, Evan Lysacek...) but I can't wait for the next Olympics!

Hi. I'm Caitlyn. And I love Harry Potter. And even more specifically, Ron Weasley.

I saw the newest Harry Potter movie twice within a span of 12 hours. SO good.
I'll probably go back, maybe like 12 times?

Go see it, it's well worth your money.
Just don't bring little kids, especially babies! Why would your baby want to see this movie?
